Alumni vs Freshmen Scholarship Event #AvF2012 [VIDEO]
Instead of highlighting gang activity or which chick slapped who, the Hough Salvation Army in Cleveland is shedding light on positivity. They’re having a basketball game to raise money for their incoming college freshmen.
The Alumni vs Freshmen Scholarship Event will be held at the Hough Salvation Army, 6000 Hough Ave. And besides from the free skating, swimming, and pool table, there will be a basketball game with some of the city’s most recognizable community leaders. The incoming college freshmen will play college alumni like City Councilman TJ Dow, motivational speaker/author Basheer Jones, Z107-9′s Tropikana, and more.

Doors open at 5pm, and it’s just $5 to get in. All the proceeds go to a fund that will be dispersed amongst the kids on their way to college.
