A 72 year old New Jersey man was booked for threatening to shoot his neighbor when he broke wind outside his apartment. Man, you gotta have some smelly flatulence for someone to threaten to kill you!
Daniel Collins Jr. is accused of aiming his .32-caliber revolver at his 47-year-old neighbor and saying, ‘I’m going to put a hole in your head.’ This happened after the neighbor walked passed Collins’ apartment and passed gas.
The gassy neighbor got scared, called the police, and the authorities found a silver Taurus revolver in Collins’ vehicle.
According to Detective lieutenant Andrew McGurr of Teaneck police, Collins snapped after ‘hearing his neighbor pass gas in front of his apartment door.’ The police officer added that the two men had been engaged in an ongoing dispute which stemmed from them making noise complaints against the other.
