President Obama Visits Cleveland, Ohio to Discuss Economic Plan
President Obama is coming back to Ohio to discuss his economic plan. Mitt Romney will be there as well. Who do you think gives a better argument?
[President Obama] will offer potential voters the first major speech regarding his economic plan. Republican presidential hopeful, Mitt Romney, will also be in the state to offer a conflicting alternative to pulling the country out of a financial rut.
While the Romney’s campaign continues its mudslinging over Obama’s comments on the “private sector,” the president will attempt to appeal to voters in the battle ground state by pushing the job policy which has been criticized by Republicans. “This is the first in a series of speeches the president will give laying out the stark choice in the election,” revealed a senior campaign aide.
Ohio remains an important visit for the commander in chief as he only has a 38 percent approval rating, in comparison to Romney’s 47 percent. With 18 electoral votes up for grabs, to add to his 244 out of 270 needed to win the election, Obama is not yet facing an uphill battle. He also previously won the state during his 2008 bid, with 52 percent of votes.
