Emily B Of Love And Hip Hop Is Not About That Fight Life!
Is it that hard to imagine that Emily B doesn’t want the rah rah??? “There are a lot of women who fight on television and I promised myself that I would never do that.” Sounds about right.. No physical altercations. Much respect for Emily not wanting to look like another reality tv dummy!!
“Love & Hip Hop” reality star Emily B recently talked about putting on a positive image for her children and why despite her cast members’ actions, fans should not anticpate her knuckling up anyone on television.
In Emily’s perspective, women should fall back rather than engage in heated, televised disputes.
“There are a lot of women who fight on television and I promised myself that I would never do that. My advice to women who are put in bad situations in front of their kids is to shut down! You don’t have to participate in the madness. … One thing I teach my daughter is to have patience. I’m always calm and I speak to my kids in a calm tone. I never raise my voice to my daughter. Once you raise your voice, kids stop listening. If I ever need to raise my voice, my kids know I mean business.” (The YBF)
Over the winter, Emily talked about reuniting with ex-boyfriend/rapper Fabolous.
“We are dating still. You know when I first came on I said, “Oh, he doesn’t claim me.” He’s doing all the claiming in the world now,” Emily revealed. “Before he was like the star and now we go out and people are like “Oh, hey Fab — HEY EMILY!!” (“Love & Hip Hop” Reunion)
Emily also said Fab admitted to having a sexual relationship with “Love & Hip Hop” co-star Kimbella a few years ago.
“Yeah, we talked about it. He said that they never dated. He did say that they had a form of sex. He said that they didn’t have sexual intercourse but that doesn’t excuse the behavior. People always get mad at me thinking that I blamed her but no, not at all, I blame him.” (“Love & Hip Hop” Reunion)
Prior to their recent reunion, she said her next love interest would likely not be someone from the music industry.
“What love life? It’s non-existent. I’m in that weird in between stage where I’m not where I was, but I’m also not ready to date anyone else. [Date another rapper?] Absolutely not. I would prefer not to date anyone else in the music industry. I’d like to date someone with a normal life, like a school teacher. In fact there’s a teacher at my daughters school that I have a little crush on…I’m just kidding. Hmmm, I guess just to take a break. We just wrapped shooting and I have a clothing line coming in the fall of 2012 and I’ve been doing a lot of styling.
