#WordEyeHeard TV Presents: Mystikal Live [VIDEO]
Mystikal has been on his promo heavy since his release from the pen, and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon! Last Friday (3-23-12), he had a show in Mt Clemons, MI (right outside of Detroit) and a packed venue reminded any naysayers that Mystikal was definitely back.
After the show, we chopped it up and discussed everything from his decision to sign with Cash Money to making Gospel music…?
On whether his music will still be hot after being off the scene for 6 years:
We shall see real soon. I already know the answer to that, but I’m trying to be humble. But I’m about to murder these muhfuggas. I’m about to bust they head, for real.
On his decision to sign with Cash Money:
It was easy. That’s [the] home team. All the chemistry was there; it made all the sense in the world. This is the way it was supposed to be; timing is everything.
On feeling pressure to change as an artist to keep up with the current state of Hip Hop:
Not pressure, but I knew I had to…[adapt]. That six years passed by and I already came home looking like the pimp on ‘I’m Gonna Get You Sucka!’
