David Otunga Dishes On Relationship With J Hud On Wendy Williams [VIDEO]
Wendy Williams got all up in David Otunga’s business as he discussed his engagement to Jennifer Hudson, how he helped her get through the tragedy with her family, and more.

Whenever we see David Otunga aka ‘Punk’, it’s always confusing as to why a smart, educated and good-looking Harvard Law grad was trying to find love on a show like, ‘I Love New York’, however, it must have all paid off since that is how he caught Jennifer Hudson’s eye. Wendy Williams was interesting in talking to David about his ‘Come up’ with J Hud, so she recently invited him on the show as part of her ‘Hot Topics’ segment.
While there, David dished on his relationship with Jennifer, including how the first met through mutual friends (old school hook up style, too cute), how Jennifer said he saved her life because she was visiting him instead of at her mother’s house when her family was killed, and how he is prepping Jennifer to take the stand in her family’s murder trial. He also dished on why they haven’t tied the knot just yet…
On How He & Jennifer First Met
She first noticed me on [I Love New York]. I started doing a lot of interviews after the show wrapped and made friends with a couple of people. Next thing you know he’s like, ‘Hey, you should meet my friend Jennifer.’ I was like okay, I don’t know, we kind of started talking. Every conversation she was asking me about the show. It’s like, okay, is she just a fan or…On Jennifer’s Family Tragedy & Her Saying He Saved Her Life
You know that’s uh, that was a hard time and back then I had just started wrestling and I had gone to Tampa. We had just gotten engaged and I had asked her to come down there and be with me and she did obviously she came down there and that’s where we were when the tragedy happened. It’s a blessing in disguise, you know –Wendy: If she hadn’t come to see you she would have gone to Chicago to visit her mother.
